If any of you can help pinpoint where to access the optical entrance point for MOST cable, that'll be greatly appreciated. I've got the whole kit used for other BMW's (E70, E90, etc), but haven't tapped into the F56, yet. Before I go in, just wanting to see if someone can point out where to go to get that connector. I'll be using ISTA-D to work with a few comfort access antenna issues. Thanks in advance.
The F-gen cars only have MOST if they have the factory HUD. Otherwise, there is no MOST loop (although I think the 2021 cars with the digital instrument cluster have MOST regardless of the presence of the HUD. In the HUD cars, the loop only goes from the head unit to the instrument cluster.

Thanks for the help. Not the best news for me, but at least I know where to look now.Originally Posted by NBCGLX

I was really hoping to find that entrance loop to break into, in similar fashion as the R56 where it's near the top side of the BDC module. But yeah, this is going to complicate the work for me if I have to hunt it down between the HUD and Kombi unit.
As far as I know, nothing (troubleshooting, coding, programming) is done via MOST in the F-gen cars. Rather, it’s all done via the OBD-II port
