Has anyone had this issue with their manual F-series? It just happened to me for the 3rd time in about 2 years leaving me stuck in neutral. So it rarely happens but it is a huge hassle when it does. Thankfully, I was right in front of my garage so I wasn't stranded this time but I have been stranded before. I have a feeling it has to do with the bushing at the end of the cable that cups the ball joint on the gear selector just getting worn and not having as good of a grip.
