2015 Cooper S ..... swapping chrome handles for black. Removed and replaced passenger side....functions properly but handle doesn't retract back flush with the door...acting like the spring lost some tension. If I push on the handle it will seat against the gasket and stay there but everytime I pull the handle to open the door it never fully retracts flush with the gasket/door.

Haven't tried drivers side yet.

Any suggestions what is wrong?
