Portable jump starter question

Quick question…looking at purchasing a portable jump starter for our 2019 F55. All the jump starter instructions are written for use with exposed battery terminals. The F55 has a Positive “Starting Aid Terminal” and a Negative body ground or the Special Nut near the strut tower.

I’m assuming these two locations will function the same as the actual battery terminals for use with a portable jump starter? Just wanted to be clear (owner’s manual only addresses conventional jump start cables).

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the help!

Regarding the combo device, I had considered the compressor combo but will likely get separate jump starter and compressor pieces for two reasons. I’m concerned about compressor failure and then being stuck with a half functioning device.

The major reason is for space limitations, and the realization that my F55 does not have a manual hatch release inside the car (dash button is electric like the hatch)…if the battery’s dead, I’d rather reach for a small device in the glovebox than pull down the back seat, climb in the back, possibly unload the trunk, etc.

*At the risk of sabotaging my own thread (!), the F55 is actually driven by my daughter, whereas I drive a 2014 MCS Roadster. Another curious trunk design…it does have a manual release under the latch; would be helpful if you were trapped in the trunk (?), but completely unreachable through the bulkhead passthrough access. I had thought of retrofitting a cable release from one of the G1s (Detroit Tuned has made a kit for it), but I’ll likely just attach a flat nylon luggage strap and lay it on the trunk floor with the buckle near the bulkhead passthrough in case I need to pull the trunk release for a dead battery.
