F55/F56 MINI F56 Digital Display
QUOTE=NBCGLX;4542599]Does your car have the nav? Does it have the HUD? If just the former, then you need to add a MOST (i.e., fiber optic) connection between the head unit and the instrument cluster. If you have the latter, then the MOST cable is already installed in the car. If you have neither, I believe it's also plug-and-play + coding.
You ve mentioned if we have neither Navigation nor HUD it can still be done. Mine is a 2015 Cooper S with entrynavi-1 and no HUD.
Would like to know if any features will be missing if we do so?
Anybody done such a retrofit on a non-navigation non-HUD car?
thanks

My 2019 CountryMan F60 has EntryNBT EVO with NO MOST interface, I do not have Navigation or Car Play or HeadUp Display. Can i still be able to retrofit the 6WB Digital cluster?. My Current Instrument Cluster has just one cable at the back. Is the 6WB Possible on my car?. Thanks.
If your headunit has the MOST connector on it, then you should be able to get a MOST cable and plug one end of the cable into the headunit, and the other end into the digital cluster.
I have both the HUD and the digital gauges in my 2021 F60, and haven't had any issues with Polarized sunglasses, but its highly dependent on the particular lenses. I have had other lenses that havent worked well with other devices that have had coatings on them.
Help!
Hello All - Hit a brick wall and am needing assistance please!
- 2015 Cooper S Hardtop w/ harmon headunit (larger screen, no tuch, Nav, no hud)
- esys: 3.33.4
- PSdzData Lite: 4.28.21 (only download I was able to find, via link the one working link in this thread)
- I did not have a MOST cable so I ran one from headunit to new kombi
- verified that the fiber is in fact functioning, can see the light
- verified the rest of the vehicle is functioning (i.e. headunit, other electronics)
- following instructions I get all of the way up till step 9 (find KOMBI in ECU tree)
- Kombi is missing. In fact, my ECU tree only has 15 different folders (noted by the [15] to the right of the tree's title
- The kombi in its current state threw a whole slew of errors on the center display and is not displaying my mileage/fuel level/anything accurately.
Hi all, i am new here, so i don't know if this is already covered.
i own a 2016 JCW with:
NBTevo_E15413A / No HUD
My Digital Display will arrive shortly.
Do i need to order a MOST cable as well?
If so, any good supplier link (preferably in Europe)?
Thanks

Yes, you’ll need the MOST cable to install between the head unit and the digital instrument cluster. I don’t have a source in Europe, but maybe this Amazon link will help you (this is the one I purchased):

Looks like we can get it now but come from overseas.

Does anyone know if other parameters such as Boost Pressure can be displayed on the Digital Cluster?
are there any code strings that could display parameters in addition to those selected options from the Central Display?

P.S. The instructions from @pillpusher84 worked perfectly on another car, but that one already had HUD.
Andy.
if your KOMBI isn't showing in the ECU tree, ensure you coded this in your Headunit FIRST and try to read ECU tree again. This should do the trick for you both
Kombi_CIC = high
EXTERNER_MOST = aktiv
EXTERNE_MOST_DIAG = aktiv

Has it been installed in the vehicle yet? If so, it is now married to that VIN, and the EPROMS on these new digital clusters can not be "viriginized" that I'm aware of. Ran into this this issue when trying to flip a used 6WB on my 2017 340i GT. I had always been able to have a local guy in Brooklyn clear the EPROM on previous clusters so they could be re-used in a different vehicle. BMW started using new chips in 2018 which made this a problem that the community hasn't yet solved that I'm aware of.
Thanks for your advice, but in my case this really needed someone with experience and more knowledge than me!!
What is the difference between listing with Part 62105A189C9 & Part 62105A189D6.
The Part 62105A189D6 is apparently in short supply.
Are they both the same/interchangeable?.
Can i use either of them as a Retrofit for my 2018 Petrol MINI Cooper CountryMan F60?.
Thanks.

I did a little more research and understand that there are many different 6WB Digital speedometers with different product numbers of BMW MINI and each is pre-configured/tuned to a certain model/engine/fuel type of the MINI Cooper.
Apparently the Part# 62105A189C9 is suitable for my "B38 Petrol MINI Cooper CountryMan F60".
Hope the info helps others searching this matter.
If one to buy a model that is not preconfigured to their car, they may end up having to do more tweaks on the coding to get it to suit.
The cheapest place one can get the parts is currently on BMWPARTSWORLDWIDE website.

Hi there! I'd like to do this install in my F60 Mini Countryman Cooper S 2019 - I have a HUD and NAV.
Can anyone point me in the right direction as to which Kombi I should get?
Also is anyone in Oregon who can help me with programming?
Thanks in advance
