Update: Sport mode, warm motor, neutral, goose throttle and revs drop fast, there is great pop/burble. The issues is driving there is rev hang preventing the pop burble.
Accelerate, high revs, push in clutch, release throttle, the revs stay high, only gradually come down, so no pop/burble.
Sent mail to MINIUSA asking for an upgraded JCW pro exhaust as it was stated here that fixed the problem for one person

Pls correct me…..in all my years of manual transmissions…..I’ve never seen a rev hang issue….or for that matter, a sudden drop, an “almost stall,” corrected. I sadly report this. For me, it removes all of the joy which only a manual provides. Very very tired of it being labeled “a software issue.” Better bet with an automatic, sad to say.
