A lot of people use NM springs, NM has really good products. I've used their products on my previous MINI and was very happy with their products. When I change my rear sway bar on my current MINI I'll be going to an NM 25mm. If I change springs I'll use the JCW Pro suspension because I know it's designed to work with MINI and it's options.
What most people don't understand unless you work at a dealer and have access to BMW's parts program is that springs are tailored to match the options on your car. BMW/MINI doesn't have one spring for every car like aftermarket manufacturers do, another reason why they don't sell loaded shock/strut assemblies like aftermarket manufacturers do. If your MINI has a sunroof, automatic air, sports seats, etc the part numbers change based on the combination of options. When you change springs to a aftermarket manufacturer they are not tweaked to match your options so you car may sit different or handle different.
i was looking for springs that fit my sock struts and shocks
The nms in the URlL above are designed to fit the f56 - socks, no socks, barefoot.
Theres around three vendors that cover the majority of spring options for the f56. depends on what your must haves are. nm/craven/h&r. Theres a few others too that seem to have less take up.
Note theres also threads talking about leakage with certain shock options and aftermarket springs.
Then theres various bolt on coil over options if non of the collected research from that angle meets ya wants
I had vogtland springs. They're around $250. They were good. I liked them. I only went to BC Coilovers because my shocks were at 91,000 miles. If I could do it all over again, I would save the money and install the coilovers from the get go.
