I know an easy fix, just leave it pulled back and open but sometimes the sun is just to much. So I pull the sunshade to block the sun but drive a mile down the road and it's slowly starting to creep open again. It happens at most speeds above 40mph.

Does anyone else's sunshade screen keep opening when they are driving? Anyone got a fix?

 

I have the sunroof in my 2015 F56, which I have had for a year, and I do not, nor have ever had this problem. I would take it to the dealer and have it looked at, assuming that its still under warranty.

 

Mine vibrated and rattled. Dealership used velvet like tape on it. They love using that stuff.

 

Next service I'll mention the Shade rattles constantly at any speed when open. I only open it 95% now but assume a bit of tape will be applied and it will be fixed.

 

Wow, I thought Mini fixed this issue with the new F56. I also have an R56 which is notorious with issues like this. At the end of the day, I just removed the shade completely and installed a custom fit sun blocker on the glass.

As mentioned above, I would take it for service if you still have warranty left on it
