BRG has been an iconic color since the 2002 MINI reintroduction. While I haven’t seen one word of it being dropped, it’s no longer a choice on the configurator.
I was told by my Mini dealer that the color was pulled for now since it will be only offered on the special 60-Anniversary edition configurations tool launching later on this month or April.

From what I've seen, the colour used for the 60-Anniversary edition isn't really BRG. It's more like a gross forest green.

This is the new British Racing Green IV, it should be available for spring builds across the lineup. December builds were the last ones with British Racing Green 3, just got mine built in time.
I did a bit more digging and reread this Motoringfile article: http://www.motoringfile.com/2019/01/...-edition-mini/ It appears that MINI is only offering BRG IV for the 60th edition MINI, but later on in the year they will add BRG IV as an option for other MINI orders.

I noticed the absence of the "greens" on the configuator also. Was going to mention it in a thread but just let it go. Good to hear they are going to reinstate it as my next Mini color combo was going to be a BRG w/ the Chesterfield brown interior.
Looking at getting a 2020, but have not read anything about changes to the F56 in the coming year. Was hoping to see a bump in HP and perhaps a nice 8 speed auto....but only news on 2020 models is the upcoming EV. <sigh>

The F54 and F60 are the ones getting the 2020 update as well as the release of the GP. If you want a bump in HP and the AWF8F45 in an F56, the GP may meet that criteria.
BRG with Chesterfield brown would be an amazing combo. Traditional, iconic. Seattle MINI confirmed that BRG IV will be available later this year.
Iconic
If they bumped the F56 JCW to the same level as anticipated/rumored for the 2020 JCW Paceman (300HP), I'd go that route. Not sure I want to go with a bigger car just for the extra HP.
I took the Oxford tour recently and they are making cars with the "new" green for the 60 Years version. I personally saw quite a few of them. Great color, but definitely different than the BRG we get in the U.S.
Received the reply from Mini USA indicating BRG won't be available as a configurable option on the 2-door and 4-door hatch until June 2019. They are only offering BRG as an exclusive color for their MINI 60 Years Special Edition from February to May, 2019.
_______ Thanks for writing MINI. We're sorry to read of your concerns regarding the availability of the 2019 MINI Cooper Hardtop 4 Door in British Racing Green.
Please accept our apologies; British Racing Green was removed as an option for MINI models for a short time. From February to May of this year, British Racing Green will only be available as an exclusive color for the MINI 60 Years Special Edition, designed to celebrate our 60th Anniversary. However, once June rolls around, British Racing Green will again be available for all MINI models.
