Aftermarket head unit?

I know there’s info for aftermarket head units for the 1st and 2nd gen but what’s available for the 3rd gen ie f55/56? I can find like two options with no reviews on how it works with oem stuff. Thanks!

I’m in the car audio field and was very disappointed with the factory radio. I ended up building my own “dash kit” for the alpine ilxf309 halo. It’s a single din chassis with a “floating” 9” monitor. I utilized the factory amp for sound, but I wasn’t able to get the back up camera or the steering wheel controls to integrate. I kept the factory monitor in the car and relocated it to behind the cup holders, for being able to control all other features in the car and still having use of the back up camera there. The new head unit didn’t have a cd/dvd player, so I added a fire stick to it via hdmi input on the head unit. It was pretty cool, more so for the reason that I haven’t seen anybody do it before, but in the end, I missed the steering wheel controls and my phone holder to the right of the radio, so I recently put it back to stock. Let me find some pics and I’ll post them up.

I had added an aftermarket lip camera to the hatch on the other side of the handle from the oem one to go to the halo, but it definitely wasn’t as nice as the factory one, so that’s what those images are.

I love that! I have the base radio... I wonder if I could do something like this? I just miss Bluetooth streaming!
