Stock head unit with aftermarket SIRIUS - no pre-sets?
Just installed the aftermarket Sirius set-up (and consequently saved over $700 from the dealer installed system), but I can't select any pre-sets? Does anybody else have this problem? Any remedy?

I posed this question to SoundGate's technical support. Unfortunately they acknowledged this flaw in the design. Sucks, but at least I finally have sat. radio and can use the MFSW controls...

I picked up a TERK antenna from Best Buy for $50 and got a free Kenwood tuner (MSRP $150), ordered a SoundGate interface ($130+$10 shipping).
The interface plugs directly into the CD chagner cable that comes stock in all 03' and above MINIs, the cable for the tuner plugs right into that. I ran the antenna from the roof, under the rubber stripping, under the body panel, and out into the boot area. The tuner sits on the right side of the boot. I'm going to build something to protect. Very quick and easy intallation, looks very clean.
