Pictures of Mounted Dashcams
Santa brought me an Apeman C450 Dash camera. Wanting to see how people have installed dashcams in their MINIs. Not looking right now to hardwire it but just to just go simple. Do you have it behind the rearview mirror, up in the corner, or anywhere else? Wondering how you fitted the wires in a nice clean way from the camera to the 12 V plug.

I don't have a photo of mine, but it is mounted to the right (from inside the car) of the rear view mirror, up high by the headliner. It's hardwired into the ignition with the wires buried under the a-pillar trim and it works great. It's a Pioneer unit.

Thank you. For the time being I have mine mounted in the same location. I just have it hooked up to the 12v right now. It was tricky to route the wires that distance and am only okay with how it turned out. Haven’t yet tried to attempt the hardwiring.
