Looking for tips, help, advice or any information that can be offered.
I have a F55 (2016 mini 4dr) after about 2 years of driving, starting out at 12,500 miles, I received the drivetrain message. At first, the message appeared and no performance change in the car. now 3 months later, the Drivetrain message has appeared and will not come off and now, I hear a loud tapping noise in the engine area and the I don't have full acceleration power. Oil is good, water is good, no other issues. I had the car scanned a few times and each time Im told a different issue, Steering angle sensor, transmission, or spark plug change. no improvement. Any ideas? Please help

 

Drive train error covers lots of ground. It is still under warranty I assume, so let the dealer work at it. Without codes we would all just be throwing wild guesses based upon other posts.

 

I got a "Drive train malfunction" warning at 25.4K miles, took it to dealer, they updated software and that fixed it.
