@ECSTuning Paycheck burning a hole in my pocket - look for an order for the eventuri shortly to Vancouver, BC Canada. Looks like i have shipping options - anything to avoid using UPS and the big brown blanket brokerage bill bollox
IND had 20% off this weekend on them but I could not get past that weird carp fish sound when the engine was revved. I love the one on my RS3 but this one , that sound, just not for me I guess.
Does this intake require a tune and has anyone used this in the winter. Considering this intake for my 19 JCW but live in the midwest where we do get snow.
Back and Forth on these with Functional Hood Scoops but can't use them in STU or DSP SCCA Solo II AutoX so I went with AWE Carbon S-Flo...might be here today. Much less expensive and will fit right on my Forge Hard pipe Boost Kit.
I just saw on the ECS website that there is now a regular plastic version of the intake with the carbon scoop! It's a little bit cheaper, and definitely makes me want pull the trigger!

Yeah, I saw ECS Tuning's post in the Vendor Announcements earlier this week. I didn't think Eventuri would ever make a plastic one as all of their products are carbon fiber. But hey, this allows more people to get an awesome intake.
Picked up the Plastic version today at IND Distibution here in IL. Install went smooth, only "issue" is careful popping of the stock hood scoop. Also put on the Dinan sport I had from the Clubman. Did a quick 5 minute drive to make sure everything was hooked up and between the 2, definitely a nice little extra get up and go! Definitely glad I did it, and a functional hood scoop is a must in my opinion. Only other thing is definitely check which MAF sensor you have, even though I have an LCI car mine was for a pre LCI.

wow - looks sweet. Thanks for the great pictures too. So - looking at the images looks like the under the hood form is plastic - and the functional bonnet scoop is still carbon fibre for the extra bling - or are my eyes buggered? either way the front end with the scoop, piano black looks mean and sick
Have had the Eventuri on my '15 S (JCW tune/exhaust) for a few months now, about 3,000 miles. After driving in traffic, 45-50 mph, and I come to a stop light, the engine is revving around 1,500 to 1,800 rpm. It slowly drops to 800-900 rpm after 10 seconds or so. I am going to clean the filter and MAP sensor and see what happens. Cannot find anything on cleaning the filter (dry), only dis/re assembly. Some recommend wet cleaner with no oil for Gen 2 dry filters. Going to try compressed air first.
Anybody else experience this RPM issue? By the way, performance is great and MPG has gone way up. I am at 6,500 ft altitude and the Eventuri really makes a difference.
I've had mine on since May. I know it says to clean it about every 3k miles but I've probably done closer to 10k since installing yet haven't cleaned it thoroughly. I check it every couple months to pull out any leaves it catches. I know I should properly clean it but likewise haven't seen any instructions on how. Could always email Eventuri asking. They responded quickly to a question I had a while back. As for the RPM issue I haven't had any. My car idles right around 6-800 normally.
Good point, I'll email them. Their Gen 1 cleaning kits are like K&N's, cleaner and then oil. Purchased some CRC MAF sensor cleaner. After an AWE and NM CAI on the car, oiled filters, I suspect they left a layer of dried oil on the sensor. The CRC was $9 as opposed to a new sensor for $250 to $460 (list price, oem).
i had the same high idle condition from the get go. at first i thought it was a quirk of the intake. however, it eventually lead to an over-boost fault with my Dinan piggyback. had to take it to the dealer to clear the code and while there, i had them do a smoke test. turns out the MAF sensor machining on the Eventuri was bad, causing massive vacuum right at the sensor. only solution i could think of was to glom RTV gasket material in there and set the sensor in that goop. rather than go that route, i ditched the Eventuri filter section and went back to the far better built AWE. but i kept the ram air section from the Eventuri.....which had to be modified to blend with the Eventuri. a Frankenintake to be sure, but, i now have a larger filter that is easier to clean and have lost very little cold air input (as per monitoring via ScanGuage). it also has the benefit of more pronounced turbo sounds, which appeals to the hoon in my generally screwed up personality. also, if running the Forge turbo inlet pipe, you will develop a leak there as well, as the O-rings are not quite the right size. seal/replace as appropriate.
Thanks for the info. I cleaned the MAF with CRC cleaner and vacuumed the filter. Maybe it was the seal around the MAF but it is back to normal now. I suspect that the MAF had a slight oil buildup as I used to have a AWE CAI and then a NM, both had K&N oil on them. Like the dry filter from Eventuri.

Hold up. Could you give some more details on this as I'm dealing with a boost leak right now on my F56 with Eventuri and Forge intake and boost pipes. Are you saying that a boost leak will develop at the circled area? I'm pretty sure my leak is on the passenger side intercooler pipes but I don't really know as I haven't done a smoke test yet. And wouldn't Eventuri send you a new coupler with the MAF if yours was faulty?
