Help~ Steering wheel "next track/previous track" not working

Just like the title says. About a month ago, the "next track" button on my steering wheel stopped working. A week later it worked intermittently, and for last three weeks not at all. This is a 2016 MCS with H/K and bluetooth. The dash next track button works fine. Car is still in warranty, but I dread the thought of dealer ripping apart dash and creating a creaky, rattly noise in car that is dead quiet, no wind noise, nothing ... except the streaming music from my iPhone 6 and the exhaust when I double-tap the blue tooth.

I’m sure they’d just replace the steering wheel buttons, which only involves removing the airbag.

are the buttons not working period? or are you getting the "No Entries Found" message in the speedo display? I have this same issue from time to time with new updates to IOS where instead of the next track I get "No Entries Found" and need to use the stereo controls to change tracks.

Yeah--omg this has happened from day 1 on my 2017 MCS. I absolutely hate how the steering wheel controls do not always work properly whether over bluetooth or USB. My iPhone 7 Plus is always up to date and this has literally been one of the biggest irks in the car since I got it. Nothing is more annoying. It's not iOS updates, it's the software in the car.

Mine worked totally fine until 10.3 on my latest device. I’m on 10.4 now (beta) and seems to be working again.
