FMIC Upgrade and More

Last weekend I upgraded my FMIC to a Forge Intercooler, installed a Dinan Elite Power Module, installed an AWE Carbon Fiber Intake, installed a NM Catless Exhaust system, installed Forge Chassis braces, installed Powerflex engine mount, installed NM short shifter on my 2016 F56 JCW. There were a lot of discrepancies between the instructions provided by Forge and the setup of the car. Once we worked through them the IC was installed and seemed to work well. This morning it seems that I can only keep and maintain boost at ..5BAR or around 8PSI. Has anyone seen this. I haven't had a chance to get her back up on the lift, I am suspecting a loose FMIC hose most likely on the return side and not the charge side of the FMIC. This also started after I filled up with 100 Octane.

Thought?

Man, you threw a lot on at once didnt you!

It could be the IC or the Elite. Did you check all the connections for that? Its weird that you said it worked fine then the next day you started getting thise issues

When they replaced my engine I got a CEL and reduced power on the trip home. When I went back to the dealer they found a loose hose/pipe on the intake system. I think you would get a CEL if it is an I/C hose. I would check the Dinan hookup to, although I can't see a connector coming loosed if it was properly installed.

I didn't mention that part. It was fine for about 200 miles. Once I put 100 Octane in in Thursday I didn't drive much until Sunday. This morning on my way to work the boost gauge caught my eye. The weird part is its different in gears 1 and 2 which makes me think its a tune issue so I might have hit the boost cutout limit. In gear 1 and to its .5 bar in gears 3 and 4 its .7 bar. It holds boost pretty steady between 2500RMP until 4500 RPM.

Most likely your intercooler hose. When I installed my Wagner IC, I got the same problem. Those hoses have to be pushed in all the way or else it won't seat and it will cause a leak. It's a pain since the hoses are super tight but doing so fixed my issues.

Well it’s not the tune. All wires connected and ecu reset still same boost levels. Guess that narrows it down to the intercooler hoses.
