Just want to open a separate thread for this...

Does anyone know if the wiring/connector on the LED tail light is different from the non-LED ones? It seems both tail lights use the same type of bulb holder that houses 4 bulbs (1 tail light, 1 brake, 1 signal, 1 reverse), so I was thinking that they might be the same?

It would be helpful if someone can post a photo of the LED tail light wiring/connector and also the tail light itself without the bulb holder attached.

For reference, the connector on the non-LED tail lights has only 5 wires.. Not sure if it's the same with the LED ones..

 

This is beating a dead horse. Quick answer... THEY WILL NOT WORK.

Thanks, I found a picture of the connector from the link. The LED tail light connector has 6 wires. I guess that extra wire is the one that sends power to the LED piping inside the tail light.
