Owners of 4door Mini, do you all notice windnoise. was just curious, because my 2015 4dr MINI S windnoise is very noticeable. Thanks

 

I have a 2015 F56 and occasionally have some wind noise when on the highway. Very rarely, but do. I found it to be the indexing on the window not going all the way up on the door close. When I get the noise, I just hit the driver and passenger up buttons to seat each window more securely.

If yours is constant, I'd run it into Mini and see if they can adjust the window indexing tolerances a bit. As cars age, settings can get out of whack or the rubber shrinks just enough for you to get some whistling.

Try hitting the "up" buttons for all four windows if you get some wind noise and see if that works for you. If that resolves the issue, your choice whether to take the car in or handle it yourself w/ the "up" buttons.

 

F56 vs F55 are really a lot different in construction of doors/roof,etc. I always thought they were pretty similar but a closer inspection rules that out.

What speeds are we talking about? Because my wifes F55 is a lot quieter than my F56 at all speeds.

 

All I hear in my F55 is the insane noise from the damn run flats.

 

It's start around 30-40ishmph, its very loud that most of my friends that ride with me thought that my window is open. :-(

 

My F55 is quiet in terms of wind noise. The tires are not exactly silent, but no wind noise when windows are closed.
