F55/F56 Shift Well Cover

Did you know we have a shift well cover for all three generations? We do!

It's the perfect compliment to our short shift kit and shift ****, though of course it will look fantastic with any shifter and **** combination.

We're big fans of the simple, mechanical look achieved by the shift well cover.

"What about the mode selector ring? Won't this eliminate that?"

Yes! This will remove the mode selector ring, but we've got a solution for that, too.
Using our OBD adapter with a smartphone running Bimmercode, you can change the mode of your MINI without the ring!
Or even have it start in your desired mode, for those who drive exclusively in one mode.

Of course if you have a switch rather then the ring, you're good to install the shift well cover with no worries of mode selecting.

You can pick one up here: https://www.cravenspeed.com/shift-we...f56-2014-2019/

I like them. I've had one since they were first released. My car has been programed to start in "Sport" mode since I first learned of the Bimmercode App anyway. Tried "Mid" and "green" modes when I first bought the car. Didn't like 'em, and never used 'em again.

My car is simply too loud and Portland and Seattle have too many cops to not be able to switch modes while driving in those cities. And while technically, yes, BimmerCode can change the mode for you it's not really an on-the-fly solution as you have to stop to code the car. Not to take away from CravenSpeed as I love their short-shifter and several of their other products but this cover just isn't for me. I was able to keep the stock boot while using a Raceseng shift ****. It looks hella clean and I get to keep my mode selector ring.
