Good luck
Edit: je n'avais pas vu que tu étais originaire du Québec !!

ahah, we’ll switch back to English, otherwise no one on this thread will be able to follow
I managed to find one on eBay for roughly $450CAD!
Looking forward to get it installed and coded!
Did you noticed a difference in shifting performance with the updated « sport » tuning with the paddle shifters?
Did you get the launch control as well?

Another quick question: What is your transmission? 8-speed or 6-speed?
I’m asking because my local dealer service advisor has done a little research for the retrofit and told me it would require an extra module (or as I understand it: an extra wire to run from the steering to the passenger’s module, as per a few BMW 3-series retrofit forum members’ experiences...)
Again, merci beaucoup pour ton aide!! C’est un projet perso que je tentes de realiser tout comme tu as fait sur ta ptite hatchback 🤗

Not sure... I told them to activate sport transmission (2tb) and paddles...
they installed the steering wheel and called me to say the coding was not possible for my car... a wire and a module were missing to make it work.
Had it remotely coded yesterday and everything is working without any extra wires!

If you need cable and remote coding, this guy is amazing:

Hey Guys!
I really wanted this mod too and went ahead and went for it. Bough the JCW wheel off eBay for $257. Nothing extra was necessary, which was the best part
Hardest part was definitely removing the airbag, but once that was off everything went smoothly.
As for coding, the only coding that is necessary is:
1) BDC_BODY -> PADDLES_VERBAULT (set to "aktiv" - default "nicht_aktiv")
2) EGS -> Sport T/M (set to "enabled" - default "disabled")
This enables, 2TB transmission and the paddles.
(Final result on the left!)

1. Disconnect the battery
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...eel/1VnXueVA7R
The link above will provide the instructions along with images of what needs to be done to disconnect the battery.
2. Remove the airbag unit
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...eel/1VnXxBh6Yb
This one is where it can get a little annoying. The back of the steering wheel has 3 holes (which can be seen on the first picture of the link above. Make sure you have a shorter T25 since it becomes a little hard to push with the limited amount of space that we have.
* Very important: Airbag unit may only be set down with the airbag itself facing upwards.
3. Switch out steering wheel
https://www.newtis.info/tisv2/a/en/f...eel/1VnXrBSlcV
This is the step where you can start to taste victory, once you replace the steering wheel, just go backwards to put everything together.
(All the wiring that is needed should already be present. The only thing that could be missing is the wiring that is present in the steering wheel, if so, I have provided the link to the part. https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...t/32306864896/ )
4. Coding
This is the last step! Use E-sys and code these two
1) BDC_BODY -> PADDLES_VERBAULT (set to "aktiv" - default "nicht_aktiv")
2) EGS -> Sport T/M (set to "enabled" - default "disabled")
5. Drive!

Was trying to get this going today but couldn't get the airbag off and just gave up. I'll try again this next weekend when I have time. The T25 I was using was to long and I wasn't able to move it enough I guess. There is plenty of room on the bottom of the steering wheel to move around on but the steering column gets in the way on the sides.
