I 've bought four spark plugs for my F56S.
Time to change it.
I've some problem to find the right socket for my B48 engine.
Has somebody already use this one and will it work.............??

Thank you

Thank you, I 've already seen this video.
The guy use à "Lazer" socket.
I've red that the quality of this tool isn't so good, that's why I'm looking for something else.
I need a 14mm bi-hex spark plug socket ( I have one already ) but with thin wall...........not the case for mine.
That's why I'm wondering about the ECS one.
It's written "for N54/55" engine.
Then, a few lines below, fits all Mini.
As I live far away from USA, I would like to be sure before ordering !!

I just talked to ECS and they assured me it will work. They are going to update the info on their website to reflect this.

Thats a fitment error on the site, (just in the fitment box) we need to fix. Its correct to the selected MINIs in the drop down menu.

In the description, it fits:

MINI Gen 2 (R55, R56, R57, R58, R59 & R60, R61) Models
MINI Gen 3 (F54-F60+) Models

Welcome, always here to help.

Add to cart and then select your location, it will calculate the price to ship. You will also have a selection option for different shipping methods which will then change the cost in cart for shipping.

OK.
I tried on your website but the delivery cost is the price of the tool X5......
If you have another solution to suggest me ( I try again on your website ).

Yes, shipping overseas can be $$, did you try another shipping method in the selection? Also I would not just order 1 thing if you combine items, the shipping most of the time does not change much and you can get more stuff you need.

I took a regular socket that I had in my toolbox and ground down the outside till it fit. Took only a few minutes and it works perfectly.

I assume the tool is made in Germany? Try googling Schwaben part #001247SCH01A.
Maybe you can buy it from a closer distributor.

I tried, of course, but nothing came !
Well, anyway, thank you vetsvette/ECS, I've finally ordered the "laser" spark plug socket for 15 dollars.
If it works on the video, I finally decide that it will work for me !!!
Cheers

I just used a bench grinder and spun it around a few times. You don't need precision for the outside, just take enough off so it fits. I painted the area where the chrome was removed so it wouldn't rust.
