F55/F56 Best inexpensive mod you have done? Worst?

There are two auto options: the regular auto and the sport auto. The paddle shifters only come with the sport auto. I also have the JCW interior and when you get the sport auto, the shifter is different too. Mine has red stitching on the boot and ****, a red shifter button, and a metal "collar" that runs about three quarters of the length of the shifter from top to bottom.

For me it is the way the car "breaks loose" when pushed hard. I want may car to be a neutral as possible. On the stock F56 the front end suffers from (like most FWD cars) understeer. In other words the cars front wants to go straight when you turn the wheel. The heavier rear sway bar will correct this somewhat by causing the back wheels to break loose. This is no mid engine car but the improvement is really noticeable and you feel way more confident pushing the car hard.
If you feel the understeer is a problem then this is a great mod you can do yourself in your driveway. It is also easily adjustable.
Let us know if you decide to go for it and the results.

Joey Modded Headlights- $8 can of Plasti-dip
Stripes/graphics- pretty cheap to unlimited amount
DIY Front Splitter- virtually free with access to CNC machine
Cat-back exhaust- not toooo pricey if you install yourself ( but can be )
Vented A-Panels- can get alittle pricey with paint etc. but looks cool
Rear Sway Bar- best bang for the buck performance wise- $225 or so if you do install
The list can go on. Pic of some of these are in my Gallery on here..

R60 Countryman flat floor mod
Hi! Do you have any pictures of this? Not getting the flat load floor on my 2013 Countryman is my only regret. It sounds like my husband might be able to do the same thing you did.
My wife's R60 Countryman came without flat load floor. I bought a used FLF floor panel, got a sheet of ¾" maple ply, cut to fit, including notches for the centering pins and support for the panel. It rests upon existing trim panels in the car, but it would be trivial to add standoff legs if needed.
We left the wood unfinished, but I recently bought speaker fabric to cover a subwoofer I built for my car, and I'm thinking of finding some time to cover the wood and make it blend in.
It was a good use of a couple hours of time to set up.

That is a blow up spare from an early 2000s small Mercedes (5x112) It is 15 inch so if you have anything other than a Cooper you will have to mount the spare on the rear. Also the spare is made for 12mm ball seat lug bolt so you will have to drill out the bolt holes to 9/16s or so. Once this is done the spare will be functional for 50 miles at 50 mph.
