I had my 2015 F56 Cooper in for an oil change today, and the technician said there was an open recall on the car. SIM-12-03-16. There was no details about it, other than programming control units. I wasn't able to find anything online, does anyone have any details on what it fixed?

I just had my 2015 Mini serviced and there was a recall. They also installed XM satellite radio. When I picked the car up I noticed several of the displays are different than before and I actually like those changes.

 

I got the update at my last oil change. Something has changed on the display on the speedometer but I am not really sure what it is. The temp gauge has moved relative to the normal page I usually have displayed.
