I just got carbon tinting on my 2014 Mini S3. The installer said he could not do the front window since the computer is below the dash and it will get wet when he adds the tint. Has anyone else heard this or had the front window lightly tinted to cut down on heat.

 

I had the windshield tinted with Suntek CXP 80. The installer covered the dash with plastic wrap and towels.
