Well, picked up a 2016 MINI Cooper (Justa) in Moonwalk Gray today!
This is actually my 3rd MINI - I had a 2012 Justa that I loved and a 2014 Clubman S (that I didn't).
I went in looking to trade my 2016 Scion iA (I've had 8 months) for the most base model, manual transmission car they had. Well, the most "base" they had was equipped with several options including stripes, Harman Kardon sound, armrest, and heated sport seats in a twill gray cloth. I almost walked away because of the price, but they were very willing to flex on the price and gave me a fantastic trade in value, so we were able to make a deal!
Anyway, it's great to be back in a proper MINI and the 3-Cyl is quite peppy! I'm looking forward to being back with you MINI folks!
Thanks everyone! I am looking forward to taking it out some today and actually driving some (not just home from the dealer). I actually was planning on holding out on getting one until I could swing the JCW, but I figured its better to drive a MINI in the meantime than not to!

I love it! Enjoy it and get to know the F56 MINI! When the time comes, if you even want to go the JCW route, you can become educated as to the options & features on the JCW (something those of us who ordered 2015 JCW's had little knowledge about...and neither did the dealers! LOL!).
I believe you will be totally happy with the MINI (I don't like saying "justa"...because they are awesome with that 3 cylinder!).
Thanks! I can definitely feel that they are heavier, but that's ok for now.
Yes, the little 3-cyl sounds nice to rev up, but unfortunately I'm still in my break-in period (under 1200 miles) so I very rarely get it above 4,500 rpms or so. Soon though...

Wheels look so much better than the initial pic. I like the car...nice ride. It's time to rev that Mini up now.....at this point your break-in should cover the full range of revs; it's simply good for the engine.
See you at MTTS? I see you're in Atlanta, you have no excuse to kick it off with the rest of us.
^hmmm hadn't seen anything about MTTS (I'm sheltered). Looks awesome! Perhaps - I'm traveling that weekend for work, but think I should be here on that Saturday.
Thanks! Finally through the break-in, so its happily revving away!
