Is this normal for the F56 with basic radio? When I get an incoming phone call, both the car's speakers and the phone itself ring. From there, I press that phone button on the steering wheel and everything's fine. On other cars which are bluetoothed to my iPhone only the car "rings", not the phone. Of course this is not a major problem but I'm just curious as to whether I can turn off the phone's duplicate ringing.

 

yup. that is exactly what experience. i have the basic radio and calls ring on both the phone (android) and on the radio. once connected, only the speakers on the radio can be heard. i think that is just how bluetooth works. as i recall, in my wife's ford edge, an incoming call rings on the phone and on the radio.

 

Yea, just turn your ringer off on the phone when you get in the car.
