Looking for chrome ring for factory steering wheel

As title states. Looking to replace the black plastic factory ring located on the center of the steering wheel with a chrome one to match gauge bezels. Vehicle is a 2012 R56 JCW.

Any help would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, I believe that is part of the airbag unit. I'm not sure if you can remove the ring from it. Second image at that link looks like they painted and/or plastidipped those parts. You could tape off the wheel and do that on that ring piece. The Multifunction steering components #2 and bottom cover #3 can be removed separately.

Its cannot be bought on it own, you will need a whole new airbag. The newer MINI in 2011+ came in black.

The older Gen 2MINI 2007-2010 came in silver .

Watch putting stuff around the airbag as its part of the airbag deployment.

When I had a Civic, I've seen people buy the airbag from Japan, for multiple hundreds of dollars, so they can just have the red H on the steering wheel. Honda owners...
