After seeing the new Clubman and the Mini reflecting puddle lights I want to add them to my 2015 F56.

I saw a set on Amazon but one of the reviewers said they did not work on his F56. The lights include extra wires for the F56 (on the Amazon site).

Searched further to a MINI parts site where they had a variety of reflecting logos (the Union Jack looked especially cool), I keyed in may car info and when I search the product again, it said will NOT work in your car.

So any 2014-15 F56 owner swap out their puddle lights for the logo's? If so can you provide the site where you purchased so I can get the same ones.

 

I don't have them on my car but go badges.com has them and say they fit. If you want to make sure, contact them to verify. I've ordered other stuff from them.

 

I have a set with custom lenses from Windfireauto.com
It's the set I had in my R56. Haven't had the chance to install yet so Can't say definitively that they fit. The website shows the same part for '07-'15. I'm supposed to get my car back from the body shop tomorrow so hopefully they'll be installed by next week.

 

Let us know if they fit your F model. Reviews are all good but most do not indicate the model of the car they are installing on (those that do say 2008/2010 etc. Only one F model owner feedback stating they would not work his car.

 

i have them on my car and the only thing i had to do was on one side, dremel the edge of the housing....so instead of a sharp corner it was a slightly rounded edge...that was all i needed and it popped right in...works perfectly. not cutting of the car at all...

 

Amazon has them. Fit my 2014 F56 2 door.

I ordered puddle lights last week from Amazon. The lights will fit on the F56/F55.

I installed my lights in about 5 minutes. Very easy. Come with everything you need.

Would you be so kind to post a link to the exact product you ordered?

The earlier link to an Amazon product had a review that said it didn't fit on the F56. If the product you ordered is the same as the old link, did you make mods with a Dremmel to make it fit?

 

This is exactly what I ordered. It comes with a wire adapter that you plug into unit and then into car for the new models. I drive a 2015 F55. All I did was pop light out with a screw driver and plug in new light. That easy.

 

I have an R56 and had the windfireauto ones in at first but they were a pain. They kept falling out of the bottom of the door and the logo discs faded really quick due to the heat generated from the unit. I switched to gobadges and so far they have been much better.

i think I got ours from Way Motor Works. Not genuine Mini stuff, but they plugged right in, fit great, and work fine.

 

I have the basic puddle lights from the factory and want to go the custom chip route (Maryland flags!). Do I need to install an entirely new puddle light kit or do I just need to get the custom chips?

 

Basic or stock puddle lights dont have the led module to accept the disc. You could get the MINI retrofit then have someone take the disc out a create a flag for you.

So custom disc.

 

I bought some from ECS (I think) for my friend's F56 with Mini logo and they went in easy and look great. Mine are JCW for my R56.

I just installed my custom puddle lights in my F56. These are from WindFireAuto that I ordered for my R56. They fit both generations without any adapter.

 

I think they really went over the top on the Gen 3 MINI mats. The details are really done well. Other than the MINI Goodwood Gen 2 Rolls Royce wool mats, those are my favorite.
