The Euro ones are factory. The factory LED lights for the F56 for the US are around the same price as euro, did you get aftermarkets for the R56 ? Aftermarket ones can be considerably less. We current don/t have an aftermarket versions for the F56 / F55.

Yea, they are nice aftermarkets, then with the Ziza backup, very bright. Hopefully something will come out for the F55 F56 soon. But for the Euro Factory lights for the F56 / F55 , they are linked above. Glad I could help.

 

yeah, I would like to get a set of LED tails.

the aftermarket one, do you have any pics lite up.

and with OEM, how do I program them to use them. I would buy them if I could put them in myself without issues.

For the Factory F56 / F55 Euro Tail lights , its US regular to Euro regular and US LED to Euro LED,

I dont know if you can go from regular F56 / F55 lights to the LED version.

 

I am really surprised that BMW/Mini went the direction of making the LED tails optional. Especially on the new Clubman where it makes a HUGE difference.

I mean I know they did something similar on the X3 where you would have to get the xenons to get the LED "diffusers" but at the end of the day at least the diffuser design was there no matter what (even if it did not have the LED bulbs that ran through them).

Also, all of the previous R56s had LED tails standard and I personally think the glass tube look was so much nicer than the plastic diffuser look.

The R56 tail lights did not have LED tubes till 2011 up.

Yea I wish the LED was standard on the F55 and F56. Same goes with the headlights. I have a F56 at the moment in the halogen in high beam are a downgrade from my R52 .

 

Ya ya ya What I was getting at was that it went from standard (as of the 2011 rear "refresh") to optional in the new gen.


The LEDs are great! The auto high beam feature- not so great..

LED are so bright and the headlights are super bright in LEDs. My eyes had to adjust to them the first time.
