Clubman has electric seats!

The 2016 Clubman has electric seats with memory, and the iDrive has bern raised up. Also, an electric parking brake. Dash and doors have been reworked. Nice improvements!

Lots of pix on MotoringFile. I want a tent that attaches to the boot! And a vinyl top!

This is a downright sexy MINI. It's the F56 front end perfected and the tail flows much better.

I'd love to have one, but the electric seats, iDrive, electric pb don't interest me at all. Hopefully you can get one without the added tech. I'll be waiting for the first year blues to pass before looking.

I have to say, it's a bit unspectacular. Doesn't have any MINI cuteness. It's sort of like the old Clubman's more responsible bigger brother.

Same stupid-assed FOB though. Such an easy fix, and yet…

I am partial to the Clubman since that was my first Mini. I would love to drive one. At least they got rid of those pillars.

MotoringFile says the new Clubman's automatic transmission is the 8-speed Steptronic. Will be very interested to learn how the new 8-speed performs compared to the current 6-speed AT.

I don't like electric seats , they never seem to be comfortable and have shorter sections where your legs go. So far nothing but the new motor is appealing to me. Pretty sure my next car won't be a MINI. Damn shame they lost the MINI styling and with current pricing the Bmw 4 series looks better and I can get a 2 door with some room.

Quite like the sharkfin antenna. Wonder if it'll be possible to retrofit one?

What size engine on the non S 3cyl Turbo? no thanks. I am just not a turbo fan. I understand all the reason, but just not a fan. 2.0L non turbo I am good. I do like the color not real crazy about rear end but it fit with the styling of the car. Not if they would have an option on body color fender trim and mirrors, not just the caps with a different color roof that would be good. To much black plastic to care of.

Yea the shark- fin flashing must be the new alarm and look at the seats we have the power and like the BMW seats lumbar / in and out as well as memory.

Did you see the clubdoor open with the key fob on at a time. Also dual LED trunk lights for people who like the haul. Cant wait to see this in person.

The red flashing light on top of the antenna... would pay extra for that!

Thinking its will be standard, then maybe just coded when you have the alarm kit option. Like the Gen 2 models on the tach.

Let hope.

In this spec, it's almost Bentley-like! And gorgeous!

What new motor? F54 Cooper uses the same B36 (SULEV version) 1.5 3-cylinder turbo and F54 Cooper S uses the same B46 2.0 4-cylinder turbo as all other F-series MINIs.

Once again, all MINI engines going forward (for all F-series) are turbocharged. There is not a non-turbo option here in the United States. Sorry.

None of the US models will have the lighted shark fin, regardless of spec. If you order the alarm, you will have a plain antenna (not even a non-functioning light) and the alarm cue with be in the light ring like the F56/F55.

My second and only new Mini was a 1971 Clubman estate, 998 cc w/automatic trans. R/H drive! Now driving my 5th!

YES! The $6,000 Starlight Headlining on the Wraith is one of my favorite options! (I work for the company )

The polished wood and diamond pattern/stitched leather is decidedly more Bentley, though.

Just curious, why do you dislike the turbo? I really like how it gets me more torque from a small engine in the very low RPM range. It feels much more responsive, kind of like driving a V6 in the city. I have a F56 by the way.

Showed pictures of new Clubman to wife. To Big likes her Mini Clubman or a New 2 or 4 door optioned to the hilt but no JCW. She like the mini Mini's. She said if she want a big she would drive the Expedition. Well so much for that idea.
