I'm currently building my VO MCS, hoping to place the order in the next week or so.
I can't figure out the spots for the toggles. The far left and far right spots have me confused. I think the far right spot is for the Heads Up Display as a toggle appears there when I'm building and add that option. The far left toggle was blank in most of the cars at the dealership and I didn't think to ask them what that space is for, which options will put a toggle there, etc. I called today and spoke to an MA who said it was for the parking assistance. I just noticed on my last build that toggle spot is now filled and I don't have parking assistance so am confused if it's a glitch on the build site or the guy was not correct.


Would love to hear from anyone who has actually taken possession of their car and what went in that spot.

Far left is the Parking Assistant, while the HUD is the far right toggle.

Park Distance Control, Auto Start/Stop, Start Button, ASC/DSC, Heads-Up Display

 

It's a glitch on the configurator. The far left switch turns on/off Park Assist and is only there if you have that option equipped. Just the rear park distance control or backup camera will not have the switch.

 

That's a bummer. I was hoping it would still have the switch with just the park distance because they said when I ordered that parking assistant was no longer available to order. So now it may look odd and incomplete since we did get the HUD.

I am once again breaking in new MAs at a new dealership and feel like I'm driving them nuts with these questions. But then when they have to ask 3 other people in the dealership before finding out the answer I get so worried that I'm getting bad intel .
I guess I could just live with the blank spot and assume someone will come out with great decals to fill it in soon enough.

I would double check (or contact a different dealer) as I was just in a dealer last week inquiring about ordering Parking Assistant and after a phone call confirmed that I could include parking assistant in an order. While I am happy to hear this, the less is to not rely on the information until you double verify - In my research I am finding that all dealers aren't created equally and don't know (or necessarily care) to be up to date on these things. I have the blank spot where the Park Assist toggle should be, and after 6 months, I don't even notice it anymore.
