F55/F56 Where can I find clear signal markers?
Where can I find clear signal markers?
Call me obsessive, but I hate the orange colored accents on MINI bodies. I know that turn signals themselves have to be orange, but I don't see why the markers have to be...
I can get the white front turn signals in a package, but that leaves two locations to work on: side scuttles and the wheel wells.
I know the Cooper S has white scuttle signals, but when I was at the dealership all the base models had them (though looking at the configurator online I don't see them, so I'm not sure if this is the case or not. The wheel wells seem to be impossible to find white versions of online, but I'm sure they are out there.
Does anyone have a source to find either of these turn signal covers?

I don't see white reflectors for the wheel arch.

The European arches don't have lights.

You can tint them or get Euro wheel arches (no marker lights). Something might show up in the aftermarket, but white arch lenses for 1st and 2nd gen appeared only briefly on eBay and disappeared. The market is US-only and there wasn't enough demand to support it.

Yeah, the tint looks pretty good on the R56.

I didn't like the orange side indicators at first, but I don't mind them now. I think white looks better, but maybe not much better with green. On the lot, some cars were missing the insert, which didn't look good.

Ya tough to find them(arch markers) in th US unless you go to a good tint shop. As far as the side markers, I replaced mine with the non S markers. Haven't looked into AM parts but if you go to dealer make sure to mention white turn signals otherwise you'll get the unflattering Orange
