Silly question, but on a stock MCS - does the NM Module make the car HARDER to drive with the extra power etc?

Thanks! Great reviews on here

LOL cool okay, i've got a pretty heavy foot and like to drive very...spirited - so just want to make sure the extra power won't make the car HARDER to drive & manage as i've read a few people say there was more wheel spin etc

Still have my 2012 Countryman s, but Trading for a Thunder Grey 2016 MCS or 2017 Pepper white next week - leaning towards TG though

TY!

UPDATE - nearly 2 years later with the power module...

I have recently had an intermittent high slightly surging idle with the NM Power Mod on.. i took it to the dealer, unplugged it and no more surge/high idle (1.5K) ....

need to go BACK to Mini to reset CEL... to make sure 100% that its not the power mod.

anyone else experience this ?

Drivetrain issue caused by NU MODULE..??

Hi I have a 2017 Cooper S56 with their NU POWER MODULE installed for more than a year now, without any issue at all. B u t ! ... a couple weeks ago I got that yellow message of the drivetrain stating that not all power was available & that I should take it to the dealership, which I did and they told me that I need to pay around $.1000 bucks just to know what the problem was, because two of the cylinders were not being functioning 100% as the other two, so I got my car back and drove it home and I haven’t used it since then. They say the the warranty of the car could not be valid in this case because I had installed the NU power module and that that might be the cause of the cylinder power loss since it tells then computer to do use more fuel in a given moment, not sending the same signal to all the cylinders at once so my question is : has anyone had this problem before? I really do not think the two cylinders to have lost power it’s seem to me more like something of the fuel system or probably a sensor or something but not the engine at least that’s what I hope and That someone helps me out. thank you very much.

Did you find a solution for this problem?
