F55/F56 How many keys with new F56?
Just the two smart fobs. At least thats all I got.
I just got the two fobs, also. However, there is an old fashioned "analog" key inside the fob that can be extracted by pushing the silver button on the side of the top of the fob. Not sure what this key can do, other than perhaps open the door in an emergency. I don't know that it could be used to start the car. I'm sure there is someone on here who knows.
They all come with 2 key fobs upon delivery.
The key "inside" the fob as mentioned above will only unlock the drivers door, once you remove the plastic cap covering the actual lock. It's referenced in the owners manual. It will NOT start the car.
If the battery in your key fob was to die, you can place it next small NFC sensor on the steering wheel column to start the vehicle a couple of times before you get the fob battery replaced.

Two fobs with the car on delivery. No "wallet" key exists for these. They will always be the fob - the mechanical key's ONLY purpose is to unlock the drivers door if the power is dead. It cannot be used to start the car.
