I went with the BMS tuner and it's freaking awesome! I can respect people wanting a "cleaner install" as I can be **** retentive but how often are you actually opening your hood? It's not like the BMS tuner is messy. BMS has my support.

mn is what it is, do not expect much more. BMS is the beginning, soon JB4 for MCS. My F56 has already 280hps.

Mini of Escondido on instagram just posted a pic of the NM box which i find really interesting that a dealership promote a tuning box. Pretty great if you ask me

I just installed my NM power module last night. Didn't have to remove the intake as the instructions said, but just removed the cold air duct.

Haven't had a chance to really test it yet but so far it feels damn good. I have mine on the 100 octane tune running 91 pump. All NM's dyno's were run on 91 pump and repeatable. Figured since I don't get on it too much we should be good to go.

Look at their dyno sheets and talk to Jerry. He's an awesome guy. All their dyno runs were made on 91 pump, including the 100 oct tune. That tune wouldn't be safe with 91 at say a track day but for a daily driver/spirited runs its safe.

I dont understand why it wouldn't work at track but spirited run daily is fine....

Just installed my burger. It's fricken awesome and was super easy to install. Definitely noticeable gains. Too bad the weather is going to be miserable here in south jersey for the next couple of days. This weekend I will definitely test it out. Two thumbs up for Burgertuning.

i think your computer will start retarting timing from sensing short term long term engine knock.

With the B48 connecting to the TMAP allows you to control boost pressure, while connecting to the MAP gives the additional functions of timing and AFR control. In addition our Stage1 can accept our FlexFuel add on connector for E85 mixture mapping. Really neat stuff.

If you guys are interested in a TMAP only tune that is super clean we can certainly offer that. It would look like our N18 tuner and be priced at $279. Just let me know.

Who's using either the NM or the BT with a B46 engine?

Interesting....what would the gains be compared to the Stage1 tune?

Folks running the Burger tune, mind posting up some pictures of how all the wiring goes?

Burger's pic have like 4 sets of connectors, but it should really use just 2 set?

We'll get the harness photo updated on our site shortly. But the installation manual is linked here:

Without timing & AFR control less. We'd have to dyno it to determine just how much less, though. I'd guess 70% of the gains all else being equal?

Terry can explain in more details.

I did it for use E40 (40% ethanol and 60% gasoline). modify the parameters of pressure and flex fuel by software BMS JB4.

Last Dyno:

Pressure +6.5psi
Open loop 51
E40
Downnpipe cutout

It's two plugs so I think anyone should be able to handle it. But we'll work on an install video down the road at some point.
