Whining from transmission

Question, I recently had my tranny replaced (6 mt) at about 3k miles due to the common jumping out of 1st gear issue. The day I got the car back everything felt good, but while turning into my apartment complex I heard a high pitched whine from the front of the car, got louder as speed increased, and did not happen when revving in neutral. I was assuming it to be tranny noise, after that I couldn't get the noise to happen again, it's been about 1500 miles since replacing it and now I've noticed if I drive it hard prior to coming home, it will make that noise again.

Anyone know the deal? It's a horrible noise, embarrassing. I've about had it with this car unfortunately :( I feel like the dealer will just ignore it since it is pretty hard to replicate.

That really sucks. Could it be the helical gears still settling in?

Call your dealer, tell them what is up & get it back there. That sure is not right by any means.
