2015 MCS Oil Filter

What is the part number for the Oil Filter on a 2015 MCS? I looked at ECS Tuning and they dont list the 2015 model year.

I see BMW Longlife-04 Mobil 1 on Amazon. My manual calls for BMW Longlife-01 and I am assuming that BMW Longlife 04 is an accepable replacement.

Same oil filter, for the F56 2014+ models ( even works on the BMW i8 ) , there is two kits Cooper take 5 quarts set (~4.49 Quart for the Turbo 1.5L F56 Oil capacity, Cooper S takes the 6 quarts set ( ~5.3 Quart for the Turbo 2.0L F56 Oil capacity ).

LL-01 is the recommended for MINI US, LL-04 is for some MINI/BMW D I believe and overseas.

any oil that meets ACEA A3/B3 or ACEA A3/B4 by definition meets BMW LL-01

BMW state LL-04 is not to be used in north american gasoline engines due to the high sulfur content allowed in the fuel, euro standards allow much less sulfur

there are several oils available in the US that meet ACEA A3/B3 and/or ACEA A3/B4 and are found in grades 5W30, 0W40, and 5W40 ... all i have seen also state they meet BMW LL-01, but even if they do not state BMW LL-01, if they meet ACEA A3/B3 or A3/B4 they are OK to use

keep receipts of your oil and filter purchases and a log of the date/mileage of your self changes and your warranty will be honored

i buy my filters at the mini dealer 6 at a time and last purchase i paid $8.53 each

watch autozone ... they put the mobil1 0w40 euro formula on sale by the case of 12 quarts at about 30% off ... so far, buying 2 cases at a time (gets me free freight), it goes on sale again before i run out
