I would like to have the ambient light in the doors that is included in the mini yours packages.
Do you think it is possible to retrofit them? I have the excitement package with ambient light, but not in the doors.

I'm guessing no, but ask your dealer. That looks pretty cool though. Is it on all the time like the mood lighting? Can you change the color and brightness like you can with that?

 

Yep, it matches whatever the other mood lighting is set to, and I'm really glad I got it with my MINI Yours package. It definitely adds ambience.

 

I'm interested in this as well but I think there was a thread about this a long time ago that basically said it's very difficult to wire it and it involves taking the majority of the door apart. :(
