Anyone Hear Anything??
I would expect phone calls today to be made regarding arrangements. Mini has to have had let dealers know what offers are going to be made and I expect deals will have to be re-written. If the October 1st date is true, I would expect the dealers to know when the cars will arrive. I need to make travel plans back to the dealer as we have moved out of state. Sooooo, any news from anyone??

My dealer is about three hours away from the port (more depending on traffic getting through the LA area).
I expect to take delivery early next week -- was hoping for this Saturday, but that was predicated on cars leaving 10/1.
As far as deals being rewritten, if you have not already discussed some form of compensation, I would only expect $0 to maybe $500 depending on how long your delay has been. My car was one of the first 2015's (production actually started the ween before Week 27 for a small group of cars including mine), so my delay has been the max timeframe (from build to release date). My "accommodation" was worked out a long time ago at the start of the delay.
oh I am pretty sure that the Oct.1 del date will come and go. Give it at least another 2-3 weeks. People like me have ordered June 13th, with the latest expected del date of Sept.3. My car was produced on July 22nd and came into port on Aug.6th....and has been sitting outside for just about 2 months now. I am pretty sure I will hear nothing as usual.....waiting to see how this game is going to be played out......I am sure they will call me when the car is in and want their $$$$$$..No MA has ever called me to say "hey by the way here is the latest update on your delivery".......wishful thinking........until then....I will wait.....wait.....wait....and WAIT !!!!

Same here.
Just curious. There are so many dealers there, you expect it should be easy to get top service. I bought my last car from Budd's/Oakville, it never quite lost the smell of Hamilton.
It should be the mantra of the company that "top service" should be paramount for EACH and EVERY dealer....no exceptions.
I'm in Colorado. Ordered on June 26. In that time, I have received one call from the dealer with the status. Like others, they are not proactive and are doing little to curry my favor. So far they have given me little reason to buy my NEXT Mini from them. I hope things improve with delivery, but I'm skeptical. I'm also disappointed that the buying process is NOT fun like Mini corporate advertises. I'm afeard that in the end they'll be just like any other car dealer. Given the brand, image and marketing, I was hoping for so much more.
It seems Mini HQ has blown a great opportunity to get ahead of the EPA problem and extended delay to show their customers just how much they care, especially, from what I read, Mini caused the problem, not the EPA. What we're left with is the discretion of individual dealers to assuage impatient and angry customers. Evidently some are very proactive but more seem indifferent.

Our OL now says 6 Oct which is 3 days sooner than it has been saying for the last month or more. So hopefully there is light at the end of the tunnel.
btw we were week 28.
I'm hopeful you all get your new MINI's soon but at this point your going to have to harass you MA and your MA's manager to get anything solid. The OL status once the car's arrive at a VDC will not be very accurate. When I ordered my R56/S in 2007 I called every 2 days to my MA once it was in the USA. Of course he told me "soon or don't know" the first couple calls. Ask for his manager and you'll get a little further. Then tell your MA next time it was nothing personal but you wanted some answers... remember folks, your the customer spending $25K+ and it's not hard for someone at the dealership to pickup the phone and call a regional VDC or manager to get some answers.
Each MINI dealer's motoring manager reports to a regional manager who can get answers when the dealership can't -- this much I know for a fact.

Thanks for the update.......any idea if the cars that are going to the dealers are coming from Halifax directly or an Autoport storage location closer to them in the big cities ? Reason being is, if it is Halifax, it will be at least 5-10 business days before the 2015's start to show up at the dealers and then a couple more days for PDI...any thoughts ?
Maybe I'll be driving mine this weekend after all!!!
