F55/F56 Everyone getting excited?

When I called Ask Mini earlier they told me it was loaded on Waggoners truck and left the VDC, today my MA said she called the carrier and said the car has not been released to them yet. 
I imagine an actual instantaneous status might be difficult. I'm hoping there is a truck somewhere on I-10 as I type this with our car on it. Funny when I called the automated system it tells me it is at the Port wait on a ship... I hope they didn't send it back!! Did I **** someone off??? LOL!
At least we are on the front end of shipping these out. There are only so many car carriers out there and lots of cars to move from point A to point B.... not just Mini's but the normal flow of cars. Mini just can't instantaneously call up hundreds of idle car carriers to work off the backlog. It is going to take some time.

My SA called this am. He had Thursday & Friday off. He said my Mini had been assigned to a truck & that Mini is giving $600 in accessories. I feel he is giving the best information available to him & I am happy. He also said the financial people will be calling so they can get much of the paper work out of the way to speed up the process. Since I'm not financing, it should go quickly at the dealership when mine is ready. He also said they are waiting 48 pre ordered Minis.

My wife picked up here Mini today. We live in Vancouver BC and car was purchased from Mini Richmond. They called on Friday and offered delivery today if we could be there at 2:00 pm which my wife gladly accepted. She has only been waiting about 3 weeks.

Mine just came in this morning. I was able to go to the dealer and lay eyes on it. We're planning for pickup tomorrow evening. He said they got 3 pre-sold in and a few dealer cars as well. One pre-sold that they were expecting was not on the truck. He also said everyone at the dealership was really excited to see the truck pull up and all ran out to greet it. They are as excited to get cars as we are. In a long ago thread there was discussion about what tires would come on it if you didn't get run flats. Mine are Hancook Ventus Prime 2 non-runflat 195/55 R16.

Super excited!!! We just picked up our Mini this weekend and drove it to work this morning. What a fun little car!!
It's not as small as the original mini but fun nonetheless. I had a first gen Miata pull up next to me and realized that even in the Mini that Mazda is small. :-). But besides that I will post picks of our White Silver, 16" black wheels, with black roof and racing stripes car. It has sport suspension and its not harsh at all. Just slightly firm and zero body roll in the turns. My sales guy suggested a mild breakin period of 1200 miles so no fast accelerations or speeds over 100 mph. :-). Motor On Friends!!!
