F55/F56 steering wheel lock

Is it just mine or does the steering wheel not lock, when you turn off the car and turn the wheel? 2014 MC. Or was that a feature in a package I didn't get?

Maybe it has to do with it being fly-by-wire? It's good that you don't think about it!

On page 175 of the manual, talking about repairing a flat, it says this, which may be a cut and paste from a time before:

Turn the steering wheel until the front wheels are in the straight-ahead position and engage the steering wheel lock
