Here's a pic from the night I installed it, and a couple with a phone in the holder. It's an LG something, typical phone size. Click for bigger.

I haven't messed around with installing the additional socket to hide the USB cord yet, I'll get to that eventually. I'm very happy with the Cravenspeed mount. It took a total of 10 minutes to install, well made, and looks good. Gets the phone to a perfect place, and you can move the mount arm up and down or rotate it to have a landscape view of your phone, too. Not inexpensive, but built to last.

Thank you. I have a Galaxy S5 looks to be about the same size. It comes with a power adapter? Is it that the one that plugs into the gauge cluster?

It came with a 12V adapter socket that needs to be hardwired in.

Nice pics, MP. Thanks for sharing!

Did you end up installing the 12V socket?

Just like you.. Epic laziness... .. But i did end up attaching a wireless charger plate onto the mount so i just put it on and it starts charging. I'll eventually get to it.

Bringing this thread back. Seeing Heifzilla with her new shift **** had me wanting one as well. It was very quick to arrive but unfortunately i started 4 projects at the same time and the last 30 days have been nothing but overwhelming hell. But yesterday, i FINALLY had time to do it...had i known what i was doing i would have been done in 5 minutes. instead it took me 20 minutes as there were no instructions so i was winging it.

i put all the pictures up on my google account. They are here:

https://picasaweb.google.com/1072072...LXe2N3H7KXVmQE

Few pictures of the finished product:

Some quick tips:
- instead of trying to pry the ring (speed selector), i literally just tugged on the shift boot and the ring w/the boot popped up. no concern over breaking anything. you'll see in the picture that the connectors that hold in the ring are smooth and so they don't need a lot of force. as heif said, dont' forget to unplug the speed selector switch.

- i was silly in thinking that a separate bar was required to hold the shift **** in place. the bar is INSIDE the ****. very dumb of me. when you push it all the way in, the bar locks in place with the top of the shift lever.

- should have read heifzilla's last tip. trying to get the shift boot to stay was not working out well. only after reading it again did i realize that the extra collar supplied gets secured between the boot and the **** and then you remove the **** just to secure the shift boot material accordingly before placing the boot on one last time.

thanks heifzilla for the original idea on this. i love the shift **** and the fiance does as well.

Even the fiance noticed... That was the true test.. I love the way it looks. Flows with the interior.

Yeah, I had one on my R53 S - loved the weight of it - installing it was the hardest part - taking off the old one was black eye territory if you didn't do it just right ! :D
