Hanging up the phone

Anyone else ever had difficulty getting the car to disengage an active phone call and return to audio sources (music)? Sometimes, it shows I'm still on a call, long after I've hung-up. iPhone5 here, usually connected via USB and with MINI Connected App running. It's like I cannot get the car to snap out of phone mode, even after having selected a music source (which won't play -- because it thinks I'm on the phone).

Hasn't happened to me yet in this car, but in my previous car (Audi), this would happen about 20% of the time. The car would still say connected, but the call had ended, or the car would disconnect, and the phone was still on the call. I had to actively press the media button or Call End button to get the car to behave appropriately.

Yes, that's exactly what's happened and about that frequently as well. The call is done, but the car is still in "connected to the telephone mode." Pressing the iDrive controller down (aka "Done") has no effect when this happens, nor does pressing the phone button on the steering wheel. If you select Media or Radio it displays AS IF playing, but you cannot hear anything, because it still is connected to the phone, or so it thinks. Maybe these actions are indeed effective, but if so, the delay is substantial. I haven't had the car very long, so maybe I will, or someone else here has, figure/d out how to deal with this.
