Interesting. We may have to wait and see what they actually look like when the 2015s arrive. I am pretty sure (from my very reliable sources) that the "ring" is only on the older 2nd gen models for 2015. They are the same led/ring fog lamps that you can buy and have installed on any 2007-2013 R5x/R6x model from parts/service department. My friend had them installed on his 2013 Paceman and they are AMAZING!!!!!!

I only read about the halo fogs on here.
Guess we'll find out when someone gets their '15!
