Large Boot

I have been really pleasantly surprised by the large amount of things I have fit in the back of my MINI. I have yet to have had to fold down the seats. What are some things you thought so far that would not fit but have?

I have fit:
  • A large saw
  • 3 bags of luggage
  • 2 weeks worth of groceries
  • plants from a green house
I mean it is amazing!

I'll be going on camping trips in my MINI. I'll be interested to see how well all my junk fits.

This is really encouraging for me! I have a jogging stroller than folds up slightly smaller than most models which I'm hoping to be able to put in the boot. Hearing that 3 pieces of luggage make it gives me more hope. :D

Managed to stuff my mother in law,
was a tight fit.
Too many Mai Tais
She left a nose print on the rear window though.

Haha

I'm hoping that my cross country skis will fit in the car - even if I have to have the ends peeking out the passenger window

I've found the space in my MINI to be far more functional than expected. I regularly use the car to go surfing. I fit a 7'+ surfboard along with all the related beach gear while still having room for a passenger up front or behind, if I wanted. I've also fit four full adults with luggage in the back.

I do wish the front passenger seat would fold forward more, so it could create a more even space with the back seat down.

I find it adequate. Nowhere near, of course, what I could fit in my old '11 Buick LaCrosse. But I didn't buy my MINI for storage. I knew it was "mini". LOL. But it is definitely adequate. No complaints. And the additional storage under the floor pad is helpful for small items.

This should totally not be a problem for you. I think because the back is "indented" (not sure if that is the right term) you get a lot more space. I know my little nieces constantly want to ride in my car now so that should be fun for you too.
