Just heard back from my MA who confirmed July 1st is MY2015.

"Great thing you asked about the allocation because we just discussed it this morning. If you place an F56 order you will be looking at a 2015 model as we have no more June slots. The prices have increased $500 making the new base price: $24,100 Cooper S and $20,450 Cooper."

I'm glad I know this now though as it has eliminated the F56 as a choice for me since I want Connected and not paying $1000 extra just to get it!

Hoping to grab a 2013 new or CPO soon!

It's a shame that they made those changes to pricing for the 2015 model. We would have bought a 2015 if it weren't for the new required options. But we got one of only 6 Jun productions slots at our local dealer. We already put down a deposit. It's my wife's car, not mine, but I like it too. We also got the H/K added. We got $250 off via USAA Car buying but they really didn't want to budge off MSRP.

Check other dealers in your area for any Jun slots left.

The thing that is weird to me is that a lot of the advertisement I've seen centers around the 'under 20k' starting price. Well that only applied for a few months ha. I think they really messed up this time around - especially forcing customers to add certain features they don't want in order to get what they do want.

For us it is not so much the higher price since you get a few things now standard, but it was the requirement to bundle other options that made the 2015 MY out of the question. I think they are getting greedy with the car. But my wife is getting exactly what she wants on the car and nothing extra so it works out for us. If the 2015 pricing is wrong we may be a little pissed. But she is getting a car that is already at '112' in the process so the wait will be relatively short.
