I'm saying the exhaust on that Abarth in the video is the stock Abarth exhaust. It isn't aftermarket. Maybe I'm just misreading what you wrote.
Seems we are somewhat comparing apples to oranges here with respect to the model types. FIAT doesn't make a model comparable to the MCS really.
The Abarth is to the 500, as to the JCW is to MINI Cooper.
It's like FIAT completely skipped a model range and went from a "Just a Cooper" to a JCW. We don't see a "free flow exhaust" really on a MINI until we look at the comparable JCW product line...
I think it was a fair fight: Each car is its company's sport model, one step up from the base. And really, if you're a guy, which one would you rather be seen in?
Cooper S, of course. LOL. I always try to suppress a snicker when I see a guy driving an Abarth. I mean, to each his own, but it's just a bit weird. Nice to see the 'S' romp on the Abarth, which is what I expected.
