The dealer had to make some calls to get the HK sound system.

As it stands now the roof will be the same color as the body, but they will try to get a white roof.

I really don't know what the MINI Yours package is, but I like the idea of some wood on the dash. In any case I know I'll have a great interior light show.

Reacher will start off life cruising the mountains of Colorado. He'll then spend a lot of time loaded with camping gear traveling as much as we can. I'm 62 and retired, though I work part time during the school year. The rest of the time is play time.

I currently drive a 2000 Jeep Cherokee with the 4.0L 6-cylinder. The MC has plenty of power for me and I chose to load up on options rather than get the MCS. I'll be interested to see how Reacher does on I-70 west of Denver when he'll gain 6,000 feet of altitude in about 40 miles going thru the tunnels. My decision will be a failure if the Winnebagos are backed up behind me.

As you know, my wait started this weekend too -- though dealer said it wouldn't be put into the order system until June 2nd.

 

My order won't go into the system until tomorrow. So we'll be anxiously waiting together.

Regarding my color choice for the MINI purists out there: My ex-wife got the BRG car after our divorce, so I wasn't interested in any shade of green.
