New-to-me electric blue JCW after a full detail. Dinan Elite will be here tomorrow and thinking about an intake, otherwise planning to keep it mostly stock.

What brand did you use?
And magical techniques you can share with the group?

Thanks for the compliments. I went with opticoat pro+ after doing a little lurking online in various detailing forums.
from their blurb: Opti-Coat Pro+ is a 2 step permanent ceramic coating. Base layer provides warrantied protection for 5 years (Opti-Coat Pro) and the top coat provides gloss and deeper UV protection bumps warranty to 7 year protection w no waxing. Reviews i read suggest other products may offer a glossier finish - but this product has feedback that is protection vs the elements is strong.

In the lower mainland BC i dropped the car off with the Vancouver BC opticoat shop (rdi detailing)

My self-justification mantra was
- VO is super bright and likely will fade in the sun. If i added up two pro detail/waxing sessions per year, the one time cost of the ceramic would be similar over multi years.
- The black plastic/rubber surfaces on our cars will fade over time without being protected

Plus im getting lazier as life gets busier. The windows were also coated and i find the beading is pretty strong and reduces the need to use wipers in light showers.

Looks great; I'm considering if I want to black out my mine or keep the chrome.

Here is mine since I haven't posted in this thread yet:

My 2016 MCS.
Just replaced the front rotors and pads and took the opportunity to paint the callipers red and add decals to them.

New to the brand, three days new on my JCW

I’ve driven many cars that put a smile on my face, but this 2020 Mini makes me giggle!

Picked up my 2018 Cooper S Works 210 a week ago, gave it a quick polish, DA'd the roof and gloss black parts to get rid of the swirls, fitted a Gloss black grill surround to match the light surrounds, fitted the JCW grill and side repeaters, wheels off to seal them back and front - busy week

Another Ice Blue!

Anyone else with an Ice Blue Edition MINI, I'd love to add you to the registry I'm building to learn more about the Ice Blue Edition, number built, frequency of specific option packages, transmissions, etc. See my signature below.

I'd love to add it to the Ice Blue Edition registry I'm building to help learn more about this special edition, and maybe even have an Ice Blue Edition meet up at a future MINI event. You can see the cars I have on the registry already in the link in my signature.

If your interested, I typically add the VIN, auto vs manual transmission, and then which of the two available options it has: Tech package (which yours has based on the parking sensors on the front arches) and the Cold Weather package, which you can tell by whether or not you have seat heaters.

Let me know if you want to add your car's detailed info to the registry!
