No, it does not. I was disappointed about losing the net and the 12v outlet in the boot. (Even though the only thing I kept in the net was the wheel lock and a tire gauge and I never used the rear 12v outlet.

Well that sucks...I was just gonna buy the net or grab the one out of my R56 and try to make it work. That's where I keep my iPod plugged in.

I ordered the storage package, but I don't care about the 12V in the boot or the passenger side netting (I never use the netting in my R56).

My MA (and most of the other guys in the dealership) couldn't figure out what was in the storage package. But they were pretty certain you needed the storage package to get the flat floor panel in the boot. So I ordered it.

Still don't know if that's true.

Yes it's true. Storage pack adds the panel that will allow the boot to be flat, even flat right down to the drivers seat with the back seats down. I'm grateful for my MA, he seemed to know everything, which is an exception to what I've heard in general.

My MA is pretty good, but that one stumped him. At least he got it right.

I was told that the lid to that storage box could be ordered separately, but I don't have the part number.

It's worth $250 for what you get, although it's disappointing that most of that came standard on the older cars. However, I guess they have added other stuff standard, so probably a wash?

This is an older thread, but here is a link to a diagram that shows the pieces and parts you'd need after the fact to add the storage compartment lid in the trunk. Looks like replacement side panels, brackets, new trunk trim, and some additonal fasteners. Looks like lots of $$$ after the fact to add.

What's crazy is it's not consistent on who gets what. Steve that made the video has the net by the front console but he didn't order the storage package so who knows.

Yep, on this small netting on the pass. side console, confusion does reign supreme. I do NOT have the storage package on mine, yet I have that netting. Go figure.
